Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to correct or delete it. We don't sell your details, and this website doesn't use cookies or tracking scripts.

What we collect
When you fill in a form on this website, we collect what you type:
- Your name and WhatsApp number
- What you've completed (+2 or a bachelor's)
- Where you want to study, and which test (on class pages)
- Anything you write in the optional message box
We also record which page and which form you used, and the time you sent it, so we know which pages help students.
When you message us on WhatsApp or call us, we see your number and what you tell us. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
When you become a student, we collect the documents your applications need: passport, marksheets, financial documents and others. We explain each one when we ask for it.
How we use it
- To call you back, usually within 2 hours in office hours
- To give you counselling, and, if you sign a contract, to prepare your applications and visa file
- To book your level test or class, if you asked about IELTS, PTE or TOEFL
- To understand which pages and forms help students, in total, not person by person
We don't use your details for advertising, and we never sell or rent them.
Who sees it
Our counsellors and class team. Form details are delivered to us through a Google Sheet and by email (sent through Resend), and stored in those services.
When you apply, we share the documents each application needs with the universities, colleges and government bodies you've chosen, only for that application. We'll never share them for any other purpose without asking you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become students: up to 2 years after our last contact, then deleted. Student files: for as long as Nepal's consultancy regulations and tax law require, then deleted.
Your rights
Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018) protects your personal information. You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to hello@prasthaneducation.com.np or call +977 1-5900000; we'll reply within 7 working days.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn't set cookies and doesn't use tracking or advertising scripts. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we'll update this page first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
