How the course works
Your weeks, from level test to result
PTE is marked by a computer, item by item. So the course works item by item too: you'll see your score on each skill after every mock, and spend your practice time on the items that cost you most.

The PTE exam in Nepal: fee, dates and results
PTE Academic is run by Pearson and taken on a computer at an authorised test centre. There are several in Kathmandu, including one in New Baneshwor, plus centres in Pokhara, Chitwan and other cities.

About templates
Many students in Nepal learn memorised templates for speaking and writing items. Templates that don't answer the task can be marked down, and they don't help with the items that matter most: fluency, pronunciation and listening. We teach structures you can adapt, not scripts.

All three tests are accepted by most of the universities we work with. PTE's main strengths are speed and its acceptance for Australia.

Questions about PTE classes
How much do PTE classes cost in Kathmandu?
Ours cost Rs 14,000 for 6 weeks or Rs 11,000 for 4 weeks, with 10 scored mocks and 3 one-to-one speaking sessions included. The level test and demo class are free.
What is the PTE exam fee in Nepal?
USD 220, about NPR 33,500 at the 18 October 2026 rate. Pearson charges in USD, so you'll need a card that pays in dollars. Check the current fee on Pearson's site.
Is 2 weeks enough for PTE?
Only if you're already close to your target. Our students gained 11 points on average over 6 weeks. The free level test tells you what's realistic.
How fast do PTE results come?
Usually within 2 days of the test.
Do PTE templates work?
Not on their own. Templates that don't answer the task can be marked down, and they don't fix fluency, pronunciation or listening, where most points are. Manoj, above, gained 14 points after he stopped using them.
Is PTE accepted for an Australian student visa?
Yes. Australia accepts PTE Academic for student visas. Your university may ask for a higher score than the visa minimum.
