Terms and conditions
These terms cover your use of this website and our free counselling. If you become a student, your written contract with us is what governs our service, including fees and refunds; these terms don't replace it.

The information on this website
We write every page to be accurate on the date shown, and we check visa, fee and test facts against official sources. Rules and fees change, often without notice, so always confirm on the official page before you pay or apply. Our pages link to those sources.
The information is general. It isn't advice for your individual case until a counsellor has looked at your documents.
No guarantees
No one can guarantee admission, a visa, a scholarship, a job or permanent residency. Universities and governments make those decisions. We don't promise them, and under Nepal's consultancy regulations of July 2026, consultancies are not allowed to.
Test scores aren't guaranteed either. Our class pages show past results, not promises.
Fees and refunds
The first counselling is free. If you apply through us, our fee is Rs 20,000 per application file, set out in a written contract and paid by bank. If your visa is refused, Rs 10,000 of that fee is refunded, unless information was hidden from us. The contract sets out the full terms.
Universities may pay us a commission when you enrol, usually 10 to 15% of first-year tuition. Where one is paid, it's written into your contract.
Class fees for IELTS, PTE and TOEFL are shown on each class page and paid by bank or QR.
Links to other websites
We link to government, university and test pages so you can check facts yourself. We're not responsible for their content.

Complaints
Tell us first: write to hello@prasthaneducation.com.np or ask for the office manager in New Baneshwor. We'll reply within 7 working days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to Nepal's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which licenses education consultancies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and disputes are handled by the courts of Kathmandu.
