Where Asmita started
Asmita had worked as a bank teller in Chitwan for 2 years and wanted an MBA. Australian and UK MBAs were far outside her budget of about Rs 25 lakh.
What we found
A one-year MBA at a recognised private university in Nicosia fitted her budget, and it's an EU-recognised degree she could build on later. We checked the university's recognition before anything else.
We were clear about the limits: no general post-study work permit, and limited work during study. She was planning to come back to banking in Nepal with an international degree, so those limits mattered less to her.

In Asmita's words
I didn't need a famous name. I needed a recognised degree I could afford, and someone to tell me the limits up front.
