Where Pratiksha started
Pratiksha wanted to be a nurse abroad and liked that Finland's nursing degrees were cheaper than Australia's. A friend's agent had told her the course was in English, so she'd never need Finnish.
What we found
The course was in English. The job wasn't. To register and work as a nurse in Finland you need Finnish, and clinical placements in years 2 and 3 go much better with it.
We told her that on the first call, with the alternatives: Australia at a higher cost, or Finland with a Finnish plan. She chose Finland and started an online Finnish course in Kathmandu while she waited for the January application.

In Pratiksha's words
Everyone told me English was enough. Only my counsellor told me the truth, and the truth is why I'm ahead now.
