Where Sneha started
Sneha applied to Swedish master's programmes on her own in January 2024. Her application was marked incomplete and she wasn't considered for any of them. She spent the next year working for an environmental NGO in Bhaktapur.
What we found
We opened her old account on universityadmissions.se with her. Her degree certificate had been uploaded without the official transcript, and the programme's specific requirement (a course in statistics) wasn't documented.
Both were easy to fix: an official transcript, and a course description from her university showing the statistics module. Her NGO year went into her letter of intent and made it stronger than the first time.

I applied to Sweden on my own the first time and missed one document. Prasthan found what I had missed in a day. Second round, I got my first choice.
If your profile looks like this
- 1
Check every programme's specific requirements, not just the general ones. Missing a course description is a common reason for an incomplete application.
- 2
Upload official transcripts, not only the certificate. See the Sweden documents checklist.
- 3
A year of relevant work strengthens a master's application. Put it in your letter of intent.
